Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of cleanersleicestershire.co.uk and all professional cleaning services provided by Tenancy Cleaning Nationwide LTD (referred to as “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a service, you agree to these terms, which comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1. Service Standards & Safety

We provide industrial-standard cleaning across Leicestershire. While we strive for punctuality, arrival times are approximate.

  • Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate service immediately if our operatives face harassment or unsafe conditions. No refunds apply in these cases.
  • Access: Customers must provide access within 30 minutes of the scheduled time. A lockout fee of up to 50% of the booking value may apply.
  • Utilities: Electricity and hot water must be functional for the service to be performed.

2. Pricing & Payments

Quotations are based on average property conditions.

  • Payment: Full payment is due upon the team’s arrival, prior to starting the service.
  • Extra Charges: Parking, congestion charges, and tolls are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Adjustments: Final pricing may be adjusted if the scope of work (e.g., property size or condition) differs from the booking details.

3. Specialist Service Terms

3.1 End of Tenancy & Deep Cleaning

Properties must be free of occupants and personal belongings for End of Tenancy cleans. Internal cupboard cleaning requires the customer to empty them beforehand.

3.2 Carpet & Upholstery

We use high-power steam extraction. However, we are not liable for shrinkage due to poor fitting, pre-existing wear, or manufacturer defects (e.g., color run). Natural pile carpets (wool/hessian) must be declared at booking.

3.3 After Builders Cleaning

Major construction must be finished. We cannot guarantee 100% removal of deeply set paint/plaster on sensitive surfaces unless booked as a separate specialist restoration service.

4. Cancellations & Satisfaction Guarantee

Our Guarantee: We offer a 7-day guarantee on End of Tenancy cleans and a 3-day guarantee on Deep/Builders cleans.
  • Cancellations: Requests within 24 hours of the service date incur a 30% cancellation fee.
  • Complaints: Must be submitted in writing with photographic evidence within 7 days.
  • The “First Remedy” Rule: The customer agrees that the first remedy for any complaint is a free re-clean. If a re-clean is refused, the customer waives the right to a full refund and is eligible for a maximum 10% refund only.

5. Damage & Liability

We hold Public Liability Insurance up to £1,000,000.

  • Reports of damage must be made within 48 hours.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, fragile items, or damage caused by customer-supplied materials.

6. Quality Assurance & Data

Operatives may take timestamped photos of work areas for quality assurance and dispute resolution. These are stored securely under our GDPR-compliant data policy.
